Brasa (pronounced Braza) means ember in Portuguese. Brazil has taken its name from the word Brasa. It also means to bring fire, and it also means bringing the heat.
The Brasa team, based in Brazil, is one of the most successful BJJ teams in the world.
Brasa has branches in many other countries, the team has reached countless world championships fighting under the same team.
Brasa Türkiye, is the first Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu team based in İstanbul/Turkey, thus being a pioneer in the sport.
Our goal is to make this sport widespread and well known and introduce it to as many people as possible.
