- Do not speak, joke around or ask unrelated questions while your instructor is giving information about a technique.

- Never act harshly during training and never try to tap each other out. This will be an obstacle to your BJJ improvement, as it is crucial in BJJ to always remain calm and to try being technical.

- Try to apply techniques you have learned in classes. If you are unsuccessful, try to flow and switch to another move. There is a difference between rolling and sparring.
